In many recipes, you can replace regular flour 1:1 with Locawo low carb flour. Especially in classic doughs, it is an easy way to significantly reduce carbohydrates.

For yeast doughs, we recommend our Locawo all-purpose flour. It is rich in protein, works very well for yeast-raised doughs and should be kneaded thoroughly so the dough can develop a stable structure.

For cake batters, cakes and cookies, we recommend our Locawo cake flour. It is especially fine and creates a pleasantly tender, delicate crumb.

For pasta, dumplings and spaetzle, we recommend our Locawo pasta flour. It is designed for these doughs and helps you create low carb classics with a lovely structure.

Locawo low carb flour is only partly suitable for classic roux or choux pastry because the starch behaves differently from regular flour. Recipes that rely heavily on starch gelatinization may need some experience, adjusted liquid levels or additional binding, for example with egg.
