Preheat the waffle iron.
2. Prepare and bake dough
Mix the fat of your choice and the egg (or a suitable egg substitute) in a mixing bowl with a mixer (beater) on the highest setting or with a whisk for about 2 minutes until frothy. Add the baking mixture and mix everything briefly to form a smooth dough. Lightly brush the hot waffle iron with oil and bake the dough in portions - as usual - in the waffle iron until the desired brownness.
Good advices:
Sift some low-fat cocoa powder into the dough and stir it well. Your mega delicious low carb chocolate waffle hearts are ready. Enjoy it ;-)
